The good: customer service is good.
Modem/Gateways are the worst in the world. When replaced with an Actiontec Gateway works much better. (This is at your own cost and you have to order from Amazon.)
We have been locked in to 5mb/seconds for years and they keep giving us bogus promises.. tomorrow, tomorrow coming soon.
They have a monopoly in our building and the other much faster speed companies have to use their lines. So we are stuck with an elephant that wont move or improve anything because it doesnt have to.
Their is a new govt commission IFT which is supposed to encourage competition and disrupt Carlos Slim´s monopoly. We will be calling them to see what can be done.
Also will be complaining to PROFECO the consumer protection agency.
This is getting ridiculous that in 2016 in Mexico we should be limited to 5MB/sec!! A report by Oogla Speed Test test says that now in Mexico some cities are much faster that US and Canadian ones. The Mexican speed average is now up to 20 mb/sec.
This is what we will be fighting for.
