estoy en Monterrey, tengo dese varios años Infinitum y hizo upgrade a 100 Mbps. Te dicen en su famoso Ookla Speednet test que los 100 Mbps son la velocidad de bajada. Plena mentira, el test te muestra la banda ancha que tienes, quiere decir la banda tiene la capacidad de 100 Mbps (megabitsporsegundo) no bytes. Telmez tiene control sobre este test ! We have been living in Mazatlan Mexico fulltime for 4 years. We have a TELMEX Landline and the $999. High Speed DSL Internet. The problem is the internet has always been in and out like a "YO-YO". We do WITOUT internet 25-50% of the time, in any 24 hour period. We have complained DOZENS of times and it does no good. I have paid Telmex 999 monthly the past eight years. Recently this has supposedly included 10 megs of internet. I have never received anything remotely close to that, and during the past three months my speed has been terrible, from 0 to 0.1 to 0.4 and occasionally 1. something. I have an office in Mexico City. We are a group from Israel/USA. We have several different contacts with this Mexican phone service provider. When we called for support; First of all my ladies could not get a fluent person who spoke English, even though she dialed several attempts the option 9 for that. For the pasat 2 weeks our upload speed has dropped to 0.10 to 0.16 mips. This makes it impossible to talk to businesses in USA. With 2.4 mips down load we can seek information on the Internet and hear incoming phone calls via our VOIP phone with very good quality. I anybody ever happens to move to Mexico, pls never use Telmex as your internet provider! they will hang up on you if u have a techical problem, they will discontinue your service without any explanation, they will never fix your internet problems and on top of everything they will continue charging you!
